MASQUERADE You're looking at a free-standing, kinetic fiber-art sculpture, created with a somewhat bizarre process of roll-felting. That's a mouthful to say, but the operative concept in this sculpture is the roll-felting. If you're familiar with the way that some hard Christmas candies are made (many strips of different colored sugar pressed into a log and then sliced into pieces) That is exactly how the sculptures on this abstract are made.....except they are made of wool! It's a bit difficult to capture the uniqueness of this sculpture with a few pixels. In the flesh...it's AMAZING!
