THE ANCIENT Guess what sculpture our publisher chose to put on the cover of our newest book, A Universe of Metal Sculpture. Well, that was easy...it's The Ancient. Now, guess what sculpture Pamela and I chose to erect in the front of our home at CrossBow. Excellent, we're two for two. So...what is it about The Ancient? You almost have to be standing there next to it to understand. It's as if you are standing near a very wise and very quiet entity. It's tall, approx. twelve feet tall and the width depends on where you're measuring from...approximately five feet or so. You should see this one at night, or during a snowstorm...or at dusk. It's gorgeous!
