SATURDAY NIGHT IN BRAZIL MOOD LIGHT I believe the moment an artist starts to play it safe...he dies a little. Art is meant to be out there...cutting edge, and people will either like it or hate it. I just finished this piece up and I really, really like it. For me, it's like an entire bustling cheerful universe contained in its glowing four panels. Others may wrinkle their nose and move to something else...and that's exactly the way it should be. Viva la art! Viewed up close, the painting is highly detailed and actually appears to be intricate stained glass. If this had been executed in stained glass instead of stained polycarbonate, it would have to cost ten times as much and virtually no one would get one. I hope you like it.
