PLEIADES, THE SEVEN SISTERS STAR CLUSTER The Pleiades or Seven Sisters Star Cluster is one of the most visible clusters in the night sky. It's...difficult to capture, particularly using back-painting technique, but it's a terrific challenge. I must confess that I never got over the wonderment that (hopefully) takes place in all of us eventually comprehending the vastness of the sky for the first time. For me it was on a camping trip to the top of Mt. Lemmon in Tucson. At 11,000 feet the sky is clear and the stars are just unbelievable. You can get lost in the view and lost in the concept of actually viewing infinity. If you love to star gaze, perhaps the Seven Sisters...The Pleiades is for you.
