CHARLIE Charlie is Ned's younger slightly more country brother. I have, on occasion been asked, "Why do you seem to have a fixation with bass players?" To which I reply, "Beats the hell out of me!" I suppose big sculptural accordions take too long...and who would buy one? Bass players, however, seem to have an inner cool. That's as close to an answer as I can give. Charlie really is pretty cool, though........
