HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL

Candidly, this is the most gut-wrenching piece I've done in the 30+ years I've been sculpting. Not because the patron was difficult...he was TERRIFIC. And not because it was physically challenging or technically difficult. What nailed me was a phone call in which we were going over details and my contact said there had to be six "entities" because there were, in fact, six million people who were killed in the holocaust. I got off the phone, sat down, and lost it...  Obviously this isn't the sort of sculpture to go in your backyard. But there are places where this type of sculpture should be must be. The tallest two, the males, are 12-feet-tall. The women are ten-feet-tall. The children are eight-feet-tall.
