SOUL CONTAINER This is the very first of a new style and technique for me and I have no idea where it is going to go. For decades I've worked bronze, copper and steel...with a torch, hammer, pliers MIG welder to create something massive and imposing. This construction is quite the opposite of all that. You can actually look through this piece, or perhaps into this piece would be more accurate. The word, ephemeral, comes to mind and that quality also dictated its name. When I thought it was all finished, I looked at it and...it seemed like there should be some glowing core buried inside. Well, as you can see, there is now. It's just a warm glow, but it achieves what I had in mind. Are you an art collector?
